SPCEasy (spceasy.com) is a static website that provides free Statistical Process Control calculators. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
SPCEasy does not require user accounts, registration, or login. All calculations are performed entirely in your browser — no measurement data is sent to any server.
We collect your work email address in two places: when you download a PDF report and when you sign up for early access to new features. In both cases, your email is submitted to Formspree, a third-party form service, and forwarded to us. We use it solely to send you occasional updates about SPCEasy. We do not sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose. You can request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, approximate geographic region, and device type. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve our tools. Analytics data is only collected after you accept the cookie consent banner. You can opt out at any time by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Analytics data retention is set to 14 months. After this period, aggregated data is kept but individual session data is automatically deleted.
SPCEasy itself does not set any cookies. The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics (set only after you accept the cookie banner):
_ga — used to distinguish users. Retention: 2 years.
_ga_* — used to maintain session state. Retention: 1 year.
We also store a cookie_consent key in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your consent preference. No tracking cookies are used for advertising or remarketing purposes.
We use Google Fonts for typography, Google Analytics for usage statistics, and Formspree for processing PDF report email submissions. These services may collect anonymized technical data such as your IP address. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Formspree's Privacy Policy for details.
